  - New Area Type tab: Choose Patio on /generate next to Front Yard, Backyard, Garden, Side Yard, and Pool & Spa.
  - Eight layout presets: Outdoor Dining, Lounge & Fire Feature, Pergola & Covered Patio, Modern Minimal, Mediterranean Courtyard, Small Urban Terrace, Poolside Patio, and Garden-Adjacent Patio.

• 2026-03-10 🌿 Plant name labels on generated designs: Make it easier to understand and implement AI-generated planting plans.
  - Plant labels above the image: Both the main yard generator and the large-scale landscape generator can now place plant name labels just above the top edge of the image, with thin leader lines down to each plant.
  - Plants only: Labels are strictly limited to plants; buildings, pavements, furniture, people, and other non-plant elements are never labeled.
• 2025-03-09 🌍 Location & climate-aware designs: AI now uses your location so plant and material suggestions fit your local climate.
  - Location on Generate page: New optional field for your location (e.g. city, region, country); designs use it to suggest climate-appropriate plants and materials.
  - Auto-detection: We softly estimate your location from your connection so the field can be pre-filled; you can edit or leave it blank.
  - Across the site: Homepage hero, area landing pages, About, FAQ, and Pricing now highlight climate-aware design as a key benefit.
